The radelaide.me website was, admittedly, something that came about with one set of thoughts in mind, but gradually became something entirely different.
More a catch-all for the various projects I’ve undertaken, the initial aim was to produce a site within which my specifically Adelaide-and-South-Australia projects might sit, namely:
- a social media news feed for Adelaide and South Australia (which, at close had delivered 10,000 posts and had a follower count of over 5000);
- a tentative magazine;
- an online events calendar; and
- the print component that soon became That List.
The site didn’t, in the end, become a South Australian site mainly because I was developing these, and other projects, simultaneously, projects which I thought might sit better under their own domains; in particular, my time and energies were soon diverted into the first iteration of That List which, although aimed as Adelaide and surrounds, appeared to have potential as a standalone startup business.
